How We Use and Share Information

‍

We Use Information to Respond and Improve.

We use information to respond to requests, connect people with resources, administer grants and other programs, communicate about services, protect our systems, and improve our work. We may analyze grouped or deidentified information to understand patterns and inform programs or policy. A request for help does not, by itself, enroll you in research or authorize us to publish your story.

We share information when you ask us to; with authorized partners or providers needed to deliver a service; or when applicable law, safety, or organizational obligations require it. Providers may help host systems, send communications, or analyze programs under relevant agreements. A program notice may explain additional sharing for that activity.

You can unsubscribe from optional emails using the instructions in those messages. Messages needed for an active request, account, security, or legal obligation may continue. If we process protected health information for a covered organization, its agreement and applicable law govern that work. We do not use protected health information for advertising.
